Who is Brother Bear?

Short answer: an Oklahoma Native, small farmer, and entrepreneur who was ordained by the Universal Life Church in 2015.
My work, such as it is, begins with a simple mission: to help create the type of world that I want to exist within. A world that values personal freedoms, gratitude, fortitude, kindness, growth, wellness, and wisdom–not as abstract ideas, but as lived practices. I don’t approach spirituality as something to be imposed or perfected, but as something to be shared, explored, and embodied.
The principles that guide me are straightforward and demanding in equal measure. I imagine limitless freedom , while taking responsibility for how my choices shape others. I make gratitude a daily practice, cultivate fortitude in the face of difficulty, and aim to let kindness resonate outward rather than remain theoretical. I do my best to avoid behaviors that inhibit personal growth, to value personal wellness as foundational rather than optional, and to exchange wisdom whenever the opportunity arises–knowing that wisdom moves best in both directions.
I’ve walked paths that include fellowship leadership, ceremony, hands-on healing practices, and long seasons of listening. Some offerings are active, some are resting, and some may return in new forms. What remains constant is my commitment to holding space with integrity and care. I approach this work as a fellow traveler–guided by curiosity, compassion, and commitment to meet others with respect and sincerity.
